Answer by Jessica Do an online search for acyclovir. Its very similiar to valtrex, and costs a heck of a lot less. You have to take it twice a day, instead of once, but if you can remember to do that, you’ll save a LOT of money.
The normal dose for supression on acyclovir is 400 mgs twice a day, so also think about getting the 800 mg pills and breaking them in half. You’ll save more in the long run.

As for your test, if you were recently infected, it will take 2 weeks-4 months for a herpes IgG type-specific blood test to provide you with an accurate diagnosis. It takes that long for people to develop the antibodies that show they are infected. A test around the 3 month mark AFTER exposure is pretty reliable.

Got a chance to win $ 100 on a bet, would Valtrex snorted up the nose kill me or anything? I dont think so since its not like coke or a painkiller. Need answer fast!

Answer by Nicole Coke wouldn’t kill you and i would read the side effects and much are you snorting keep in mind if this originally came in pill form it would have had a time release coating which now will be gone and can be much more harmful
